Cookie Policy
Short version: we set no tracking cookies until you accept. One analytics cookie, nothing for ads, and you can change your mind whenever you like.
What we set, and when
When you first visit, MapMyShops sets no cookies and loads no analytics. A banner asks whether you’ll allow a single analytics cookie. Nothing is stored, and Google Analytics is not even loaded, unless you choose Accept.
We use Google Consent Mode v2 with every category defaulting to denied, so your choice is respected before any tag runs.
The one cookie we use
- Google Analytics (GA4) — cookies
_gaand_ga_*, set only after you accept. They help us understand which pages are useful and how visitors arrive, in aggregate. IP addresses are anonymised.
We set no advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share this data. Google Analytics is listed as a processor in our Privacy Policy.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use the controls below at any time. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics and clears the analytics cookies from this browser. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
