How MapMyShops collects, uses, and protects your data. We never store your Google, Meta, or WhatsApp passwords, we never sell your data, and we disclose every processor we use — as DPDPA transparency requires.

Who we are

MapMyShops ("MMS", "we", "our") is a product of ITS Infra India (GSTIN 29KZQPS9533FIZA), registered office: No. A407, SY No. 3/1, Navanrami Platina, Opp. Thanisandra Main Road, Thirumenahalli Village, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka — 560064. We provide a WhatsApp-first marketing service to Indian boutique businesses. (ITS Infra India is a proprietorship — no CIN.)

Data we collect

  • From you — business name, owner name, contact number, email, Google Business Profile location, business category, and brand assets you upload.
  • From your operations — customer contact data via the Customer Data Gateway (uploaded with your explicit consent per record), review content, and Google-profile performance metrics.
  • Automatically — service usage logs, WhatsApp message timestamps (not message content beyond what's needed to deliver the service), and service telemetry.

How we use your data

  • To deliver the service you signed up for — generate content, manage your Google profile, respond to reviews, run campaigns.
  • To bill you and process payments via Razorpay (Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to payment data).
  • To improve service quality through aggregated, anonymised analysis.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or share your business data, customer data, or content with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not train external AI models on your data without your explicit opt-in.

Processors we use

We use these processors strictly to deliver the service, each with access only to the minimum data their function requires: Google Business Profile API, Meta (WhatsApp Business API), GoHighLevel, fal.ai (content generation), Razorpay (payments), Cloudflare (hosting + CDN).

The Empowerment Principle

We never store your Google, Meta, or WhatsApp passwords. Ever. We operate through official APIs; for non-API directories we hand you ready-to-paste content and a step-by-step guide. Your accounts stay yours.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, or port your data. Request it via WhatsApp to your designated MMS contact. We process requests within 72 hours.

Pending counsel (binding text)

Data-retention periods, breach notification, jurisdiction, and grievance-officer details to be drafted and confirmed by counsel before go-live.
